Our current contemporary society faces crucial complications relating to carbon dioxide emissions. Because of this, there is a widespread sense of emergency among the government authorities of the world to do something about it. Solutions to excessive carbon dioxide emissions are now being explored. CO2 emissions are the main culprits to the progression of global warming.

Global warming is caused by many factors, one of which is carbon emissions, one of the greatest offenders of pollution. Government administrations are doing their best to find means to address the growing public concern for global warming. Appropriately, these authorities are centering their attention on the debate on carbon trading.

Carbon credits and carbon trading are common topics for debates and conventions on environmental matters, but most of us are not completely acquainted with these terms. In the system of carbon trading, controls are put on greenhouse gas emissions under the Kyoto Protocol, and the prescribed emission limits are then distributed across countries, which have to control the greenhouse gas emissions from the different industries and business units operating within them.
